About Us - From Brick and Mortar to Click and Order

Lisa, owner of Mandy J Florist & Gifts (rebranded to Mandy J Design Studio)

I decided to take a leap and follow my dreams of opening my own florist. We opened our first location in March of 2011, where the old "Almont Airport" once stood and later moved to Downtown Almont in 2017. I served the community as Chamber President and as a member and served on the Almont-DDA. I am a current active member of the Almont Lions Club. 

I am now ordained with Universal Life Church ministries as an officiant to perform wedding services.

In 2024, I made the difficult decision to  re-locate the "Brick and Mortar" store to a home based wedding floral studio located in Berlin, MI ( 3 miles E. of Downtown Almont) due to the  dramatic shift of in-person shopping habits and an increase of online ordering due to Covid.

We want to thank the Almont community and clients for the many years of support.

I will continue to offer my floral services for many years to come . I can now travel and relax a bit and  more and focus on my Brides- to -be
