About Us - From Brick and Mortar to Click and Order

Lisa, owner of Mandy J Florist & Gifts (rebranded to Mandy J Design Studio) has been in the florist industry for the past 38 years and decided to take a leap and follow her dreams of opening up her own florist. Mandy J Florist is named after her Daughter who attended Almont Schools. We opened our first location in March of 2011, where the old "Almont Airport" once stood and later moved to Downtown Almont in 2017. Lisa has been active in her community by serving as Chamber President and is currently a member of the Lions Club. She has also served as a board member of the DDA and has made various donations to local organizations. In 2024, she made the difficult decision to move her Brick and Mortar store to a home based service business in Berlin, MI due to a dramatic shift of in-person shopping habits and an increase of online ordering. We want to thank the Almont community for the many years of support and look forward to serving the community for many years to come!
